Hello teacher. I´m Lucía Boaglio. After reading what you´ve posted, I immediately thought of the woman who gave the lecture on methodology this last Saturday. She highlighted the importance of choosing the positive aspects of the different approaches, in other words, teachers have to be flexible when deciding how to teach or what method to use. But you also made a comment that I want to share with my classmates. So as to choose among the different "posibilities" let´s say, first we (students or teachers to-be) have to know or study the different approaches. In this way, we´ll have a wider range of posibilities from where to choose. Personally, I think our election will be highly influenced by the context, and by the context I mean the age of students, the contents we will teach, etc. Well, I think this is all. I hope everyone could get my point. Best wishes, Lu :)
